Pinpoint Weather
Tuesday's Pinpoint Forecast: RED FLAG WARNING for most of the state, as it will be very hot, dry, and windy today. A WIND ADVISORY is in effect for the west deserts, as gusts could top 50mph there. Highs will be in the 80s and 90s, across the state, with Salt Lake City getting up to 98, and Dixie up to 102. Wind will be out of the south between 25-35mph. A cold front will cross Utah on Wednesday, with a big drop in temperatures but the wind will keep howling. By Thursday, highs will only be in the 60s and 70s up north, 80s and 90s down south. Still, no rain is in the forecast, and this June could end up being the driest ever for Salt Lake, with no precipitation.
