Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - The Philadelphia 76ers have signed guard Jeremy Pargo for the remainder of the season.

The Sixers signed Pargo to a 10-day contract earlier this month, and the 6- foot-2 guard scored in double digits in two of the three games he played.

Pargo appeared in 25 games for Cleveland earlier this season, starting 11, and averaged 7.8 points with 2.6 assists. He was waived last month after the Cavaliers acquired Marreese Speights, Wayne Ellington and Josh Selby as part of a trade with Memphis.

The Gonzaga product spent his rookie 2011-12 season with Memphis and averaged 2.9 points with 1.3 assists in 44 games, including five starts.
