Green Bay, WI (Sports Network) - The Green Bay Packers released center Jeff Saturday on Monday, nearly one month after the six-time Pro Bowler announced his retirement.

Saturday started 14 games for the Packers this season before being replaced late in the year by Evan Dietrich-Smith.

Saturday, who entered the league as a non-drafted free agent, played for the Colts from 1999-2011 before joining Green Bay. In addition to making six Pro Bowls, Saturday was a first-team All-Pro twice and second-team All-Pro two times.
