Florham Park, NJ (Sports Network) - The New York Jets placed wide receiver Stephen Hill on injured reserve Wednesday and signed cornerback Donnie Fletcher from the practice squad.

The 21-year-old wideout sprained the lateral collateral ligament in his knee during a Dec. 9 win over Jacksonville before sitting out Monday's loss to the Tennessee Titans.

Hill, the 43rd overall pick in April's draft, finishes his rookie campaign with 21 catches for 252 yards and three touchdowns over 11 games, including eight starts.

Fletcher has appeared in two games for the Jets this season without recording a tackle.
