Nets sign Damion James to 10-day contract

Brooklyn, NY (Sports Network) - The Brooklyn Nets signed forward Damion James to a 10-day contract on Sunday.

James averaged 15.5 points and 7.3 rebounds in 17 games for the NBA D-League's Bakersfield Jam this season.

The 6-foot-7 James has played in 32 games with the Nets over the previous two seasons, averaging 4.5 points and 3.7 rebounds. He missed a total of 107 games during those campaigns due to right foot injuries.
