Kings' Robinson suspended two games

New York, NY (Sports Network) - Sacramento Kings forward Thomas Robinson has been suspended two games without pay for throwing an elbow to the neck of Jonas Jerebko of the Detroit Pistons.

The incident occurred with 10 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter of Sacramento's 105-103 win over Detroit on Nov. 7. Robinson was immediately ejected for the flagrant foul.

Robinson will serve his suspension when the Kings host the San Antonio Spurs on Nov. 9 and when the Kings play the Los Angeles Lakers at Staples Center on Nov. 11.

The fifth overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, Robinson has averaged 4.4 points and 3.6 rebounds in five games this season.
