New York, NY (Sports Network) - Knicks star forward Carmelo Anthony sprained his left ankle around the midway point of the third quarter in New York's 116-107 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers.

Anthony fell hard and got up gingerly before being escorted to the locker room. He scored 22 points in the first quarter and had 30 for the game when he left the floor.

The Knicks (16-5) remained undefeated at home and handed the Lakers their fourth straight loss.
