Heat re-sign Varnado, ink Andersen to 10-day contract

Miami, FL (Sports Network) - The Miami Heat brought forward Jarvis Varnado back for a second 10-day contract on Sunday.

The club also signed forward/center Chris Andersen to a 10-day deal.

Varnado, who was signed by the Heat on Jan. 9, has totaled two points and two blocks in two games with Miami.

Andersen has averaged 5.4 points and 5.2 rebounds in an NBA career that spans 10 years.
