Indianapolis, IN (Sports Network) - Dallas Mavericks forward Shawn Marion is expected to play in Friday's game against the Indiana Pacers after missing more than a week with a sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee.

Marion has sat out five straight games since sustaining the injury during Dallas' 114-91 victory over Portland on Nov. 5. The four-time All-Star averaged 8.0 points and 9.0 rebounds over the Mavericks' first four contests of the season.
