Nashville, TN (Sports Network) - The San Francisco Giants have re-signed outfielder Angel Pagan to a four-year contract. Although financial terms were not released, reports have stated that the deal is worth $40 million and is pending a physical.

Acquired in a trade with the New York Mets last December, Pagan enjoyed a tremendous year with the world champion Giants in 2012, hitting .288 with eight home runs, 56 RBI and a major-league best 15 triples. He also recorded career bests in runs scored (95) and doubles (38).

Pagan also reportedly received a four-year deal from the Phillies.

In 695 games over seven seasons with the Giants, Mets and the Chicago Cubs, Pagan has hit .281 with 41 home runs and 265 RBI. He has also stolen 124 bases.
