Clearwater, FL (Sports Network) - Ryan Howard produced a three-run home run and Yuniesky Betancourt finished with two hits and three RBI as Philadelphia routed Toronto, 13-5, in exhibition play on Sunday.
Jermaine Mitchell drove in a pair of runs, Domonic Brown added a solo homer, while Kevin Frandsen, Michael Martinez and Darin Ruf added an RBI each for the Phillies, whose other squad dropped a 12-3 road decision to Baltimore.
Justin De Fratus tossed a scoreless inning of relief to earn the win for starter Aaron Cook, who was dented for seven hits and four runs -- three earned -- over four full innings.
Jose Bautista and Mark DeRosa both homered, with Adam Lind also driving in a run for the Blue Jays.
Brett Cecil allowed three earned runs in one inning of relief to take the loss.
