Recap: Colorado vs. Los Angeles
Scottsdale, AZ (Sports Network) - Tim Wheeler's two-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning lifted the Colorado Rockies over the Los Angeles Dodgers, 8-6, in Cactus League action.
Tyler Colvin also had a two-run homer, while Andrew Brown added a solo shot for the Rockies. Jeremy Guthrie allowed one run on four hits and two walks in 4 2/3 innings on the mound.
Tim Federowicz and Jeff Baisley had RBI doubles as part of a four-run top of the ninth for the Dodgers that tied the game at six before Wheeler's game- winning blast.
Nathan Eovaldi allowed four hits in a scoreless three-inning start for Los Angeles, but Fernando Nieve, Ryan Tucker, Will Savage and Logan Bawcom allowed two runs apiece in the loss.
