Te'o wins Maxwell Award

Lake Buena Vista, FL (Sports Network) - Notre Dame senior linebacker Manti Te'o took home the 2012 Maxwell Award, which signifies the nation's top all- around player.

Te'o has posted a team-leading 103 tackles and seven interceptions, the most in a single season in school history by a player at his position.

Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel and Kansas State signal-caller Collin Klein were the other finalists for the award.
