Kim Giles give us one of the most useful tips on how to communicate with your spouse, your family, or even your friends when the truth needs to be said.
If you are afraid to speak the truth, ask permission first. An example for a friend who is doing something less then attractive would be to say, "Would you be open to a little constructive critisism?" Also with spouses, the right angle would be, "If I was feeling bothered with something you are doing, how can I bring it up to you still showing that I love and respect you?"
