Worker falls to his death in roofing accident

SALTLAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Emergency officials say a 51-year-old man fell to his death at a warehouse while working on a roofing project Thursday morning.

Officials say the accident happened just after 7:30 a.m. at 4521 West 1980 South in Salt Lake City.

Upon arrival, officials say SLCFD firefighters found that the victim had fallen through a skylight, approximately 30 feet.


Emergency crews say the man was dead when the firefighters arrived.

Officials say the man was with a small group of roofers who were repairing the warehouse roof.
