There were a lot of tears on the
Good Things Utah set as our Reagan Leadbetter made a very big announcement this morning.
Reagan said:
"I am leaving the show. I have an incredible opportunity to get to spend with my family. I have been thinking about it all summer, really, with my husband and he gets to be the really fun parent in the morning. He whips breakfast together, gets my kids to school. I -- when we started talking about this, he said i would love for you to get to do this. I feel lucky that I have the opportunity to get to do it when he is saying, they are growing so fast, and they are. My kids are so fun. My family is fun. My husband is terribly fun and it was a really hard decision because i care about you girls so much. Love my job. I'm in my dream job. I love it but I feel like I don't want to look back and regret not being with them. I miss so much in the morning. When I get home, I feel like I'm trying to make everything else happen and I'm maybe overwhelmed sometimes and I just -- I want to be able to hang out with them, play with them, be a good mom. I have so many good friends and our viewers that are so excellent moms and that's their number one job. I hate it when they come and visit us and go, I'm just a stay at home mom. I'm a little bit scared for that job because it's the hardest job. But i want to try it. I want to do it because I want to be with them and I will come visit you girls and see you. "
Reagan is leaving
Good Things Utah after nearly 10 years to spend more time with her family.
Her last day on Good Things Utah and the Daily Dish will be September 30th.
We have a lot of special things planned for Reagan during her last month with us.
