BIG COTTONWOOD CANYON, Utah (ABC 4 News) - A car went off the road and fell 65 feet near the S-curve in Big Cottonwood Canyon Saturday.
It happened near 700 East and 6400 South.
Officials report they believe the accident was speed related. Two attempts were made to land a life flight helicopter for the female driver of the vehicle, but emergency crews eventually took her down the canyon in an ambulance. She was taken to Intermountain Medical Center with critical injuries.
