Apple Bread
This delicious and sweet quick bread is simple to make and is great as a side dish or by itself! Enjoy! Gluten free version also available on simplifysupper.com.
3 cups flour
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. salt
1 cup walnuts, optional
3 cups apples, peeled, cored & chopped
1 cup vegetable oil
2 cups sugar
3 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. cinnamon, ground
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Grease 2 loaf pans (8 1/2 inch x 4 1/2 inch). Mix flour, baking soda, salt, walnuts, and apples in a large bowl. Whisk oil, sugar, eggs, and cinnamon together in a small bowl. Add wet ingredients to dry and mix until just moistened. Divide mixture evenly among loaf pans. Bake about 90 minutes. cool in the pans for 10 minutes before removing to cool completely on wire rack.
