Tool safety

Story Comments Share
If you are unfamiliar with a tool, it could easily cause an accident in your home. Read the instruction manual before you attempt to operate a tool you aren't familiar with. And if you've used the tool before, but are unsure of exactly how to work it, read the manual again. Don't use a tool for any task except those for which they were designed. Tools that are damaged in any way should not be used. Prevent injury with protective eyewear and ear protection, if necessary. Purchasing high quality tools to use will help you avoid injuries caused by defective merchandise. Tools should be stored where children can't access them. And of course, don't wear loose clothing that could get caught up in your tool.
