SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC 4 News) – This weekend, summer officially begins in Utah! At least if you ask some of the thousands of Utahns who spend most of their Summer Saturdays at Pioneer Park. The 19th Annual Downtown Farmers Market and Art & Craft Market opens Saturday.
The 2011 marketplace is open Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. June 11 to October 22. Each Saturday a unique variety of local farmers, growers, bakeries, prepared food, packaged foods and local artisans are on display and open for business.
This is the state’s largest farmers market with an eclectic assortment of people and products. The craft market has more than 80 booths displaying local, handmade treasures.
