SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah (ABC 4 News) – Dozens of people showed their support at city held fund raiser Monday night for victims of a recent flood and mudslide.

The event, “Families Helping Families,” was held at Neptune Park and featured food, live entertainment and a silent auction. The event was expected to bring in hundreds of dollars for families affected by the flood.

The City of Saratoga Springs was hit with a massive mudslide, triggered on Sept. 1, 2012 by heavy rain and a hail storm. The mud slammed 12 homes and left behind thousands in damages.

Approximately 3,000 volunteers have come to the aid of flood victims to help with clean up efforts and repair.

All proceeds from the event benefited the residents affected by the flood.

An account has also been established at the Bank of American Fork for donations.
