FOUNTAIN GREEN, Utah (ABC 4 News) - A flash flood hit homes and a highway near Fountain Green on Monday.

A flash flood warning remained in effect until 6:00 p.m. for portions of Sanpete and Utah Counties where the Wood Hollow Fire burned one month ago.

The National Weather Service estimated that many drainages in the southern end of the burn scar are producing flash floods.

Damage to multiple homes in the area between Fountain Green and the burn scar have been reported.

The Sanpete County Sheriff's Office also reported that a portion of State Road 132 south of Fountain green had flooded.

The NWS reported that rainfall amounts of over 1.5 inches had been reported, and that the area would be very susceptible to flash flooding due to the recent fire activity.
