Youth and community leaders unite against bullying

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (ABC 4 News) – Bullying was the focus of a community service project and assembly in West Valley City Saturday.

First students and community leaders removed graffiti and picked up trash then attended an assembly full of speakers… many affected by bullying and youth suicide.

Nick Vujicic, an international motivational speaker born with out limbs made a surprise appearance.

The assembly at West Lake Junior High School featured West Valley City DARE Officer Brumley who presented tools to handle bullying situations and teaching parents and adults how to recognize the symptoms
