HOLLADAY, Utah (ABC 4 News)-A single family home caught fire, Monday, calling for addition firefighters to help put the fire out.
Sometime just before 5:00 pm, the first alarm was called in to the home at 2255 E 6200 S. The second alarm was cancelled a short time later.
The flames were put out quickly and the family was not injured in the fire.
Crews are now analyzing the home to determine the cause.
House fires come at no surprise to the Salt Lake City Fire Department. This winter alone they have seen everything from small room fires to entire levels become engulfed in flames.
Fire Departments caution to buy smoke alarms, never overload circuits or extension cords, use appliances wisely, and plan your escape with family members.
