WASHINGTON CO., Utah (ABC 4 News) A Jeep and a Mustang collided head-on leaving two people injured and one in critical condition. The crash occurred on SR 9 between Hurricane and Colorado City, sometime before noon on Sunday. 

The driver of the Jeep was attempting to pass another vehicle, when it struck the Mustang. The Mustang then spun out while the Jeep went end over end and down an embankment. The driver of the Jeep was flown to University Medical in Las Vegas in critical condition. The two occupants of the mustang were taken to Intermountain Healthcare in St. George by ambulance. They are expected to be released with minor injuries. Police added that all three were wearing seat belts.
