WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Three people are behind bars after a drive-by shooting and short police chase.
Police tell us that they witnessed the shooting near 3300 South 4000 West in West Valley City.
No one was actually shot, but there was damage to the home.
When police tried to stop the men, they took off leading police on a short chase before their SUV spun out when they tried to enter I-215 near 4700 South.
During the chase, police say the men threw a shotgun out of the SUV, but it was able to be recovered. Police believe it was the gun used in the shooting.
Police were able to arrest three men after the spin out, Louis Rivera as well as Benjamin and Ivan Venegas. All three have been charged with Attempted Homicide.
