FARMINGTON, Utah. (ABC 4 News)- A Zions Bank was robbed Wednesday.

At a little before 6 p.m. the suspect entered the bank at 1663 North Main in Farmington. He handed a bag to the teller and demanded that they fill it with money.

There was no weapon used by the suspect and he did not indicate that he had one.

The teller filled the bag and the suspect fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Workers from the bank watched as the suspect entered a near-by neighborhood. A K-9 unit was called and police scoured the area.

A few residents told police that they saw a tan colored Sedan parked earlier with no plates. Police were unable to locate the car, but believe that the suspect made his get-away in the vehicle.

The suspect is described as being a white male, late teens or early 20’s. He is about six feet tall. The teller said the suspect had a young sounding voice. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue hoodie.

Anyone with information concerning the suspect or robbery should contact Farmington Police at 801-451-5453 or the Davis County Sheriff’s office at 801-451-4100.
