OGDEN, Utah (ABC 4 News) – On Tuesday animal control officers rescued 155 dogs living in deplorable conditions inside one Ogden house. Now those dogs need a new place to live.
If you love dogs, these cuddly canines need someone like you.
Right now Pack n' Pounce Animal Rescue in Ogden is trying to find homes for 155 dogs, all of which were just rescued Tuesday from an Ogden house.
"It ended up being 149 we took out of his house then he came over later and he brought us six more," said Brenda Gordon, Pack n’ Pounce Animal Rescue Thrift Store, Owner.
Although the man hoarding the dogs treated them with care, they became too much to handle, and need new loving owners.
"They are going to need more care, they are shyer than more dogs then we get in the rescue," said Gordon.
So far prospective puppy owners are showing up in packs.
"It's just something I always wanted is a little Chihuahua," said Roxane Gabbitas, buying a puppy.
"Since all of our kids are grown or in the military or married we might as well have something to take care of," said Kathy McKay, buying a puppy.
Even though there a lot of puppies left, if you want for yourself, you might want to act fast. There are so many people looking at the Pack n’ Pounce website right now, their page has crashed.
