Man injured when his vehicle hits a pole

SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah (ABC 4 News) – A man is lucky to be alive after his car hits a power pole.

According to South Salt Lake Police a red GMC SUV was driving north on 300 West near 2500 South when the driver lost control, spun and hit a power pole.

The single occupant, 25 year old male, was taken to a local hospital in serious condition.

Police say the man was driving to fast for conditions and advise drivers to slow down.
