MAGNA, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Cody Wayne Doty is accused of stealing the motorcycle from Strung Excavating Tuesday while wielding a machete.
According to a probable cause statement, an employee named Ed approached Doty, who, "pulled a machete from a sheath attached to the three wheeler and held it out. The victim (Ed) immediately stopped."
The machete was described as being two feet long.
Police found the stolen bike at Doty's home, according to the probably cause statement.
A canine unit found him hiding in a sewage tunnel.
