OGDEN Utah (ABC 4 News) - Aaron Collier was mad over the recent presidential election.

And Saturday night when friends were over, his girlfriend says Collier was willing to fight anyone who disagreed with him.

"He wanted to fight my friends, he wanted to break my phone, he wanted something to break," says Stacee Chivers, his girlfriend.

She called 911 because she felt he was getting out of control.

"He told me I'd regret this," she says.

And when police arrived Shivers sat in the dining room talking to two police officers.

They then headed downstairs to meet with Collier.

"And right when they turned the corner, it was like popcorn. just boom, boom, boom."

She says police shot back. A friend took her outside and moments later police had her in handcuffs.

"The cop come up from behind meand just stepped on my back and slammed my head into the gravel," Chivers says. "He told me to shut up. he handcuffed me."

She was stunned by their treatment. She tried talking to the officer.

"I just wanted to know what I did wrong because I called you, I called you for help," she says.

A swat team surrounded her home and Chivers remained locked up in a police car.

She later learned Collier called her sister.

"He told her he had been shot twice, shot twice," Chivers says.
Collier even got on facebook according to Chivers and notified friends about his situation.

"He wrote that he had been shot in the stomack and kneecap," Chivers says.

But police allegedly told her a different story.

"They said he was walking around calling them the F word, but I know that's not true because he never moved after that, he never moved," Chivers says.

And while Collier was held up inside the house, Chivers claims she pleaded with police.

"(I asked them) can I please just let my mom call him," she says.
But they wouldn't let her.

She was taken to the police station where she later learned Collier died inside the home.

"I'm angry," she says. "I feel like I'm going to die, he was the life of my life ."

Ogden police are not commenting about the shooting and they have not released details on how Collier died.

They are still waiting for results of the autopsy which will determine the cause of death.
