WEBER COUNTY, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Two individuals were hospitalized after their vehicle rolled 40 yards off the road in Weber County Thursday morning.

Around 6:30 a.m., Weber County Sheriff's officers were dispatched to the area of 5500 East Old Snowbasin Road on a vehicle that had rolled and ejected one passenger, said Cpl. Mark Horton of the Weber County Sheriff's Office.

The vehicle was occupied by four individuals at the time of the incident, said Horton. The victim who was ejected was transported via medical helicopter to an area hospital with unknown injuries. Another victim was transported by ambulance. Two others were treated and released at the scene.

Horton believes alcohol and speed were both factors, but are under investigation at this time.

None of the vehicle's occupants were wearing seat belts at the time.

Horton said due to the location of the accident, cell service was spotty, and it took nearly 20 minutes for the party to reach 911.
