19-year-old accused of punching Utah woman, 94

ST. GEORGE, Utah (AP) - St. George police have arrested a 19-year-old Santa Clara man they say entered a 94-year-old woman's trailer and punched her.

Authorities say Everett Clark was taken to jail on suspicion of assault, trespassing and alcohol charges stemming from the alleged incident on Tuesday night.

Police say Clark entered the woman's home, and then punched her in the mouth when she asked what he was doing.

Officials say he punched her a second time before fleeing the trailer.

Authorities say residents of a nearby house detained Clark until police arrived.

The 94-year-old woman met with officers but turned down medical treatment.
