Walmart donates to Utah Food Bank as part of Facebook campaign

ST. GEORGE, Utah (ABC 4 News) – Walmart presented a $50,000 check to the Utah Food Bank as part of the "Fighting Hunger Together" Facebook campaign.
The campaign from the spring encouraged people to vote for an area of the country to receive a large grant.
In a press release, Walmart said over $1.4 million was donated to hunger relief in Utah since 2010.
A check presentation was made with Governor Gary Herbert in St. George.
