A local charity is trying to raise awareness about a syndrome that affects many kids right here in the state of Utah. It's called Prader-Willi Syndrome. PWS is a genetic disorder that impacts the hypothamalus of the brain It causes a chronic feeling of hunger that can lead to excessive eating. Prader-Willi Syndrome is a lifelong struggle for these kids and their families. They often have conditions such like mental retardation, depleted muscle tone, and delays in development as a child.
There is a contest where a local charity can win 250,000 or 100,000 and you can help these kids and their families by voting at the Vivint link below. www.vivint.com/givesbackproject
