Grab a book and flip through the pages today, it's National Read a Book Day.  Reading opens up doors to the world and to knowledge that can take you to places you've never dreamed of.  As a family, we all love to read.  We read books every night to our kids when they were little and many of our date nights centered around going out to dinner and then to the book store.  I love having a home full of bookcases that are full of a variety of books.
There are so many books and so many authors that I love.  But, some of my favorite children's books are "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" by Judith Viorst and one that will make me cry everytime I read it to this day is "Love You Forever" by Robert N. Munsch.  It even applies to moms who have grown children.
So pick up a book and enjoy.
