SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Trader Joe's accepted employment applications today as they search for store employees, which they call "crew members," ahead of the stores anticipated November 16, 2012 opening.
It is not known how many employees will be hired for the Salt Lake City store or what the salary range will be, but those standing in line waiting to fill out their application, said they were excited for the opportunity and the new store coming to town.
"I've ran into Trader Joe's when I was out in California a few times and absolutely loved it!," said job applicant, Sherri Bradford. "I would love to work here. I think the environment is great and what they carry is great."
Trader Joe's will be located at the former Old Navy location inside the Family Center at East Downtown at 634 E. 400 S. Store hours will be 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Sunday.
