SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Authorities are getting more phone calls from people with information about a former school principal arrested on charges of sexually abusing boys over the past 35 years.

FBI spokeswoman Deborah Bertram says the bureau has received phone calls from people asking to speak with agents about Charles Weber (WEB'-uhr).

Weber, a former principal at Soldier Hollow Charter School in Midway, was arrested Monday and made his initial court appearance Wednesday.

FBI agents are assessing the calls for information that could widen an investigation.

Authorities have identified two victims but believe there may be more given that Weber was an educator for 40 years. Court documents show that Weber acknowledged to FBI agents that he had sexually abused "several boys," most recently in April.
