Sources tell ABC 4: City Creek Apple store to open November 23rd

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Some big shopping news for City Creek Center!

ABC 4 News is being told by several independent sources that the City Creek's Apple store will open November 23rd - the day after Thanksgiving.

This date, of course, marks the beginning of the peak Christmas shopping season.

Now, City Creek would not comment about the store and referred us to Apple.

But Apple did not return our calls.

Which brings us to the Apple store at the Gateway Mall.

ABC 4 first reported that the store would be closing because of the new one at City Creek.

But the only question was when.

Monday afternoon, ABC 4 News talked with Jake Boyer who handles the leasing for the Gateway store.

Boyer told us the Gateway store will close in the next few weeks.

This would be about the same time the Apple City Creek store opens.
