SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah (ABC 4 News) – Police are asking for the public’s help to identify the woman that robbed the Beto’s Restaurant.

On December 3, 2012, at approximately 11:15 p.m., an unidentified adult female walked into the Beto's Restaurant demanding money from an employee with a pointed razor type knife or box cutter.

The suspect grabbed the employee by the arm and escorted her towards the cash register.

The employee walked around the counter following every instruction forcefully given by the suspect.

The Robbery Suspect remained on the other side of the cash register telling the employee, "You know what I want."

The employee now had the counter and cash register between her and the Robbery Suspect so she ran into the kitchen where other employees were working yelling "she has a knife."

The suspect turned around and headed out the exterior doors of the restaurant, where she jumped into the backseat of vehicle. The vehicle left the area at a high rate of speed.

The employee from the restaurant described the suspect, as a Caucasian female, brown hair, approximately 5' tall and a skinny build. According to witnesses the she was wearing a white hooded jacket and blue jeans.

The Saratoga Springs Detectives were able to review surveillance footage of the Robbery Suspect, as she was leaving the restaurant.  The surveillance video has provided many answers to this case, but the Saratoga Springs Police Department would appreciate any public support with any information or knowledge of the suspect’s identity.

The public is asked to call the Saratoga Springs Police Department at 801-766-6503 with any information. 3
