OAKLAND, Calif. (ABC 4 Sports) - Enes Kanter had 12 points and 11 rebounds but it wasn't enough to rally the Utah Jazz in their preseason opener against the Golden State Warriors.

David Lee had 19 points and 14 rebounds, Brandon Rush added 14 points and the Warriors held off a late charge to beat the Jazz 83-80 on Monday night.

Stephen Curry had two points and six assists in his first game since March 11 while Klay Thompson scored 11 points for the Warriors (2-0).
Curry had surgery in April to repair his injured right ankle.

Golden State led 69-58 in the fourth quarter before Utah made a late run behind Kanter. The second-year center made a layup with 1:01 remaining that pulled the Jazz within 83-80.

Paul Millsap and Marvin Williams had 13 points apiece for Utah (0-1).

Mo Williams added 11 points and 6 assists in his first game back as the Jazz point guard. Al Jefferson scored just two points on 1 of 8 shooting.

The Jazz next host Oklahoma City Friday night at EnergySolutions Arena.
