SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - A 37-year-old construction worker was rescued by firefighters Friday, after suffering a seizure at the construction site of a home in Salt Lake City, officials said.
According to the Salt Lake City Fire Department, the man suffered the seizure while working on scaffolding near
1000 Terrace Hills Drive at approximately 7:50 a.m. When rescue crews arrived, the man was conscious, but stranded on the scaffolding and needed help getting down.
The fire department's heavy rescue team was called in, and used ropes to lower the man from the scaffolding. The victim was then taken to a waiting ambulance and transported to the hospital.
It was not immediately known what type of seizure the man suffered, or the status of his medical condition.
