Snowmobiler Falls Through Frozen Lake In Utah County

Payson (ABC 4 News) -- A snowmobiler is fortunate to be alive, after his machine fell through the ice at Payson Lake on Wednesday.
Officials say the man was riding the snomobile on the lake, approximately 20 feet from the shoreline, when he fell through the ice. The smowmobiler remained stranded in the freezing water for a while before rescuers reached him.
The man was suffering from extreme cold, but is otherwise okay.
