CENTERVILLE, Utah (AP) - Authorities have identified a 24-year-old Brigham City man who was killed when his car was rear-ended by a truck and pushed into a dump truck.

Utah Highway Patrol officials say Nickalaus Renteria was killed on impact in the crash about 6 a.m. Thursday on I-15 near Centerville.

Troopers say Renteria had the emergency flashers on in his Ford Taurus when a box truck driven by a West Valley City man hit the back of it.

Officials say the force pushed Renteria's vehicle into the back of a dump truck being driven by a Salt Lake City man, who was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Troopers say they're investigating whether speed was a factor in the crash.
