Snow causes major power outages in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Harsh weather Saturday night caused thousands of Salt Lake residents to lose power.

Approximately 18,300 residents were without power in Salt Lake City at one point, according to a Rocky Mountain Power (RMP) representative.

Rocky Mountain Power says they expect all power to be restored by 1 p.m. Sunday.

WILLARD BAY, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) - It's now been over two months since a Chevron pipeline broke at Willard Bay spewing more than 20,000 gallons of fuel into the area and still parts of the park remain closed.
