SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) A Sconecutter restaurant was robbed Friday evening. It took place at 2040 South and State Street around 7:30 p.m.

No customers were in the establishment at the time. The suspect demanded money from the clerk at gunpoint. Police searched the surrounding area with K-9 units.

The suspect is described at a white male, in his 30's. He was wearing a white jacket, black beanie cap and large black rimmed glasses.

Police say the description matches a suspect in connection with several other robberies around Salt Lake City, including a yogurt shop on New Years Day.
