Police respond to a threat at Layton Hills Mall

LAYTON, Utah (ABC 4 News) --Police in Layton are investigating a threat at the Layton Hills Mall.

Few details are known and it's unclear what that threat was.

The threat was called into 911 about an hour before the mall was set to close, on Sunday.

Several officers responded but the mall continued operations as normal.

Police may know who called in the threat and they're following up on leads.
