SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Police identified the man who was stabbed several times and left to die in a Salt Lake City alley Tuesday morning.
The victim was identified as 22-year-old Azerereth Yazzie.
On Tuesday afternoon, police announced that three arrests were made, including an unnamed 17-yer-old boy, 21-year-old Ammon Karr and 26-year-old Adam Karr.
Police said the trio will face possible Aggravated Murder and Obstruction of Justice charges.
Police say Yazzie was stabbed multiple times and left the alley way in an upscale part of the Capitol Hill area.
Police say they got a 911 call from a cellphone that did not have service, and located Yazzie via triangulation with cell phone towers.
Police say Yazzie was taken to the hospital but "didn't want to talk about what happened" to investigators.
Police say Yazzie later died at the hospital.
Police say officers found a blood trail leading to #31 E. Girard Ave.
Police do not know who made the 911 call, but did question a 17-year-old man inside the home where Yazzie was found.
Police say detectives are looking for two women who were at the scene of the stabbing and are believed to be witnesses with information regarding the case.
Police say one of the women is known as 'Marissa,' and is believed to be between 18 and 20 years old, 5 feet 3 inches tall, 110 pounds, with blond, shoulder-length hair.
Police say the second witness is known as 'Juliette,' is believed to be between 18 and 20 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 110 pounds, with brown hair that is below the shoulders in length.
Police say the women were seen traveling in a blue car.
Anyone with information about the two witnesses or the incident was asked to call Salt Lake City Police.
