Police chase ends with arrest in Kearns

KEARNS, Utah (ABC 4 News) A drunk driver is behind bars after he attempted to flee an officer that saw him hit another car.
Alejandro Ramirez left the Los Coyotes restaurant at 4090 West and 5415 South around 2 a.m. Highly intoxicated, he backed out and hit a parked car. A Unified Police officer saw the crash flagged him down.
The driver decided to flee, leading the officer on a chase through a Kearns residential area. The chase lasted less than a minute before the driver decided to pull over at 5131 South and 4460 West. After surrendering he was arrested with no further incident.
He was charged with hit and run, DUI and fleeing from an officer.
