OGDEN, Utah (ABC 4 News) A structure fire has displaced a two people in Ogden after destroying a shed and damaging their home. 

The fire started around 2:00 a.m. in or near a detached shed. A male occupant who lived in the shed was awoken by the fire. He exited unharmed and evacuated his father and two dogs from the residence. 

When firefighters arrived, the shed was fully engulfed in flames. A nearby arching power line prevented the crew from immediately getting to the fire. Utility worker eventually controlled the situation and allowed firefighters direct access to the fire. 

The shed was completely destroyed and damage was done to the garage and house. Damage is estimated to be $18,000 The two men will stay with family members. 

The cause of the fire is unknown and is still under investigation.
